After self-awareness, the next step is change.
The practical changes in the path of growth and personal development is what part of ourselves. The other change, probably in the report and in response to changes they perceive in us. So rule number one is not to claim that the other / a (partner, friend) changes for us.
According to psychologist Michael Mahoney, there are rules and fundamental principles, non-compliance of which makes any change strategy is doomed to failure. Let us consider:

1. Have the courage to love in a world that will not guarantee anything.
2. Be careful what you feel: if you do not like is a sign that you are not getting what you need.
3. None of you has the best answers to your problems of life.
4. Before venturing a change, make a list of the worst things that can happen as a result thereof.
5. While the change implemented, Compliment yourself with the courage you show.
7. If you do not lead to the desired goal, try something different.
8. If you want to experience something new, do not just think about it, but the task of the action.
9. Evaluated and the results, whatever they are, however, congratulate yourself for trying.
10. If you fail, start again from step 1.

Remember that a true and deep change takes time and is composed of many small steps.

1. Speak for themselves.
2. Trust most of what you hear.
3. Ask for help sometimes.
4. Doing something that has not been done a long time.
5. Explore, meet new people.
