The Neuro-Linguistic Programming NLP
is a methodology for self-improvement developed in the early '70s by American linguist John Grinder and Richard Bandler, the scientific contribution of many other scholars. Each of these elements can be generated from the previous year and occur in the next, and knowing this mechanism becomes much easier to communicate and plan effectively, whether it is not only of others but also themselves.
The map is not the territory
One of the many scholars who collaborated in the development of NLP, the '60s and '70s, it was Gregory Bateson, American anthropologist, who defined the concept of map and of territory: the map is an image of reality, and the territory is the reality itself. Each of us perceives reality differently and then act accordingly, often causing misunderstandings and stress, bankruptcy, self-sabotage, and in some cases, even psychosomatic illness.
